During the early hours of Wednesday the 9th of January our Dad left us . My sister had moved in with him a few months earlier after he'd had a fall at his home . That night she heard dad in his bedroom went in and sorted him out made sure he was comfortable and said goodnight . Later that morning as Dad hadn't got up she went up to his bedroom and Dad had passed away in his sleep . He was just as my sister had left him laying on his side slightly curled up he looked so peaceful .I had talked to him earlier in the evening telling him I would see him the next day . I missed that but we did manage to make the pilgrimage to Mablethorpe on New Years Day . The place we scattered mams ashes . Tomorrow is Dads funeral I am so not looking forward to it . Hopefully we get his ashes back and take them to join Mam next Sunday .
