Annice Spencer was born in Bolton-on-Dearne on July 21, 1924. The eldest of three children . Mam passed away on the first of January 2010 . James William Spencer was born in Thurnscoe on the 30th of March 1924 they were married in 1948 and were together until mothers death . Dad lived for three years without mam looking after himself except for a little help from my sister and myself . Dad was very independent a coal miner most of his working life . One thing dad always told us my mother and him never had a proper argument in all the time they were married . Dad passed away in the early hours of Wednesday morning 9/1/2013 . Dads funeral was Friday 18/1/2013 . It was the reuniting of two people who really loved each other . A great loss to the ones he left behind . Shiela and myself
