Dear Bill, what a wonderful tribute to your dear Mum. She was obviously a very special lady and your love for her come across so clearly. I hope the poem gives you some comfort. It helped me when I lost my dear Mum and my darling wife Wend. God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be, So He put his arms around you and whispered Come to me. With tearful eyes, I watched you suffer and saw you fade away Although I loved you dearly,I could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest, God broke my heart to prove to me He only takes the best. Its lonely here without you,I miss you more each day, Life doesnt seem the same since the day you went away. When days are sad and lonely and everything goes wrong, I seem to hear you whisper, Cheer up and carry on. Each time I see your picture, you seem to smile and say, Dont cry, I'm in Gods keeping and we'll meet again some day. Gob Bless Bill, may He give you peace and strength Ian
